9th graders at BASE spent their first day of school out of the classroom and on a field trip to Tree to Tree Adventure Park and Haag Lake. See what they learned by working together and having fun!

A great teacher creates a classroom environment where students feel safe and can support one another. Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering senior Aleksandra Vitruk says she was lucky enough to have such a refuge for her entire high school experience.
